DiffScout is a price monitoring service that:

  • Takes screenshots of web pages you specify
  • Extracts pricing information using AI
  • Tracks price changes over time
  • Sends alerts when prices change

3. Account Registration

To use DiffScout, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use DiffScout to:

  • Monitor pages you do not have permission to access
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose

5. Subscription and Billing

Money-Back Guarantee: All new subscriptions include a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase.

Paid Plans: A paid subscription is required to use the Service. Prices are listed on our website.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are available within the first 7 days; we do not provide refunds after that period.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

Price extraction is performed by AI and may not be 100% accurate. We provide confidence scores for each extraction, but you should verify critical pricing decisions independently. DiffScout is not responsible for business decisions made based on extracted data.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
